Jason Blilie, Founder

Jason is the founding attorney of Blilie Law. His practice areas reflect his passion for technology and entrepreneurship. Jason plays an active role in Miami's tech and startup communities and is the Co-Chair of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce's Technology Council, and former Co-Chair of the Law Council. 

Through Blilie Law, Jason has worked with many of Miami's premier startup companies. As part of Jason's effort to support the startup ecosystem of South Florida he formed Tech Beach, a technology and startup community group. Tech Beach advances technology and entrepreneurship by holding monthly events for its members. Jason is also a venture coach at the University of Miami's Launchpad and speaks to Wyncode Academy cohorts regarding startup law and legal issues involved with freelance software development work.

Craig Lewis, Associate Attorney

Craig brings over ten years’ experience litigating complex commercial disputes in State and Federal courts and an uncommon dedication to clarity and precision in drafting and editing to Blilie Law. He counsels and assists clients with a broad range of matters, including business litigation, contract drafting and review, insurance coverage analysis and disputes, and civil appeals.

Grant Lachman, Of Counsel

Grant J. Lachman is of counsel to the firm and brings experience from his work in the healthcare industry to Blilie Law clients. Grant is an executive at a national medical billing services company and has an intimate understanding of HIPAA compliant business operations. 

Grant previously worked as an associate attorney at a prestigious Miami law firm after serving as law clerk to U.S. Bankruptcy Judge John K. Olson. Grant is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school Grant was the President of the Cardozo Legal Society and a member of the International and Comparative Law Review.

J.T. Gyorfy, Director of Operations

J.T., as the Director of Operations for Blilie Law, is responsible for all operational functions at the firm, including financial, administrative, and work-flow management, ensuring that client’s needs are being accurately measured and met. He works directly with all attorneys and legal assistants at Blilie Law, and would like to note that he has an open door policy for all current and potential clients.

Outside of Blilie Law, J.T. is a co-organizer of Tech Beach, where he helps curate educational panel discussions and networking events, and publishes weekly newsletters on latest developments in South Florida tech. He is also a member of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Technology Council, the Beacon Council Technology Committee, and the Miami Global Entrepreneurship Week planning committee.

Prior to joining Blilie Law, J.T. lived and worked in Washington, DC where he analyzed financial regulatory policy and helped develop legislative advocacy strategies in the Federal Government Relations departments of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. Before moving to DC, J.T. was the co-founder and project manager of Vistan Design, a boutique graphic design firm and screen-printing studio in Morristown, NJ.

J.T. obtained a BA in Economics with minors in Entrepreneurship and International Studies at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
